About CTS and Kira Miller
Owner Kira Miller has designed her company around quality to ensure that everyone her company works with receives the best training and customer service. CTS stays abreast on the latest products, procedures and protocols for safety training, EMS regulations and health information to ensure they are delivering real time information.  CTS was launched in 2004.  CTS is an Independent, Authorized Basic Training Center through the American Safety and Health Institute (A.S.H.I.) and Medic First Aid.  ASHI/Medic regularly schedules CTS for all types of training courses,as well as performing AED updates, first aid kit restocking and instructor/trainer courses. CTS is also a Sub-Distributor for Phillips AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators). CTS was recently re-certified as a Santa Clara County Green Business.

About the Owner

Kira is a former EMT-B, Certified Nurses Assistant, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team Volunteer) Member and holds a Bachelors Degree.  She has over 20 years of training experience through the American Heart Association, National Safety Council, American Safety & Health Institute (A.S.H.I.) and Medic First Aid. Kira has years of experience teaching Emergency Response Team members, Health Care Professionals, teachers in several school districts to lifeguards, coaches and dentists.  Kira ensures that every student gets the same informative, quality training every time.
In her professional life, she is the Co-Founder of the Women's Networking Alliance, a business networking group for women-owned businesses, has served over 10 years on the Alumnae Council, and is the Founder of the Alumnae Business Association at her Alma Mater Presentation High School in San Jose.  She is the former owner of Heartsounds of San Jose (a safety training center). Serves on the Customer Advisory Board and Program Advisory Board for the Health & Safety Institute and an Advisory Board Member for Institute for Business & Technology.
